There are many comic characters to pick from for Halloween. I would probably be Spiderman or another comic book character. James Bond is a great choice but he is not a comic book character as much. Spider man was always a favorite comic character. Spider man has a great costume, very flashy, stylish but classic red, and blue. It may be exciting to get a different type of Spiderman costume, one of the old-school editions perhaps.

Picking a Comic Character

Dick Tracey would be an interesting comic book character to pick for Halloween. The yellow hat and jacket with the cigar would be rather stylish; that may be a good selection as well. Thinking harder about it, Ironman would also be a nice choice. It is hard to imagine what kind of Ironman costumes are currently available; with most costumes, the material or design could make or break the effort. It would be exciting to get some type of realistic Ironman costume, maybe for a big Halloween party. Then you begin to wonder just how heavy that would be. Fortunately there are lots of light materials such a costume can be made from.

The Costume

It mostly depends on what is available or reasonable with the time I have left. It is important to think about what would look best, it is best not to overdo it or fall short aiming too high. Sometimes the simple approach is the best approach. Looking on the internet is probably a better choice for finding boys or girls costumes than looking at local stores. This is especially true when considering specialty type of comic costumes like the vintage Spiderman outfit.

Picking a comic character for Halloween is a great idea with the proper planning. I would want to make sure the costume looks classy and accurate without overdoing it. Something simple like Spider-man or Dick Tracey would be clever and serve the purpose for Halloween.
